I have 3 corydora catfish and they all swim around like crazy, but one will swim around in circles and then lay on the bottom of the tank for 10 seconds. Is this normal behavior? All the other fish are acting alright?
He wizzes around, then lays on the gravel perfectly still. When I first saw him do it, I thought he was dying : ( . But you think its normal?

How many small cories (only to 2”) can I fit in a 5 gallon tank? It has 3 step bio-wheel filtration and I would be willing to do water changes as much as is needed. And actually, when people say that they need to be in groups, I’ve never had a problem with lone cories… I have 2 right now… it used to be only 1, and it was fine by itself. And my friend has a thirty gallon with 1 cory and a million other fish… the lone cory’s fine… but I honestly do think they like being together, but I’ve had no problem… or could I buy some that are only this —————— long to start out with and upgrade the tank later? I’m really good at taking care of cories… don’t worry… what do you think?

I have a male betta, and two small 3/4″ orange fish, also a 3/4″ cory catfish. Can I add another orange fish? Also, would they get along with a dwarf puffer?

I have a fish aquarium with only one fish in it and was wanting to put one of my betta fish in it. The fish in the tank is a cory catfish i think and i didn’t know if the betta would attack it or not since they’re notorious for even trying to attack their own reflection. Would it be safe to put the betta in without it attacking?

I have in a ten gallon tank. 1 male betta, 1 female betta, 3 cory catfish, 5 neon tetras and 15 ghost shrimp at any given time. I have about 13 live plants, a large piece of coral, and small drift wood. The fish are never crowded, shrimp keep the place clean. catfish eat what the others miss. and my plants balance nitrogen fairly well.. I have read all these posts that you can not put a male and a felmale together. MIne never seem to fight. swim in close proximitry to one another. Mate, (although the eggs never seem hatch just disapear) they swim togethor.

With all this talk to males beign so aggresive. The only thing aggresive he seems to do is knock the snails off of the plants. (buts thats just ammusing)
