My mother told me that back in the 50s, my grandfather used to shoot squirrel right in his backyard. She stated that now they are protected, though. I’m not interested in shooting them, but I was wondering what year did they change the law that you cannot hunt or shoot firearms within city limits?

I would buy a .22 rifle but i live inside city limits so I cant legally use one. Just need a good air rifle to shoot squirrels. I was looking at the Gamo Varmint Hunter Air Rifle it is not that expensive and looks fairly well.

Could anybody tell me if the stock is that cheap plastic or is it solid good quality plastic. Give me what you think about this rifle.

Does anyone know of any other pellet rifles that are good and have a wooden or synthetic a wooden stock and under 400$ bucks

I live in a small town, with a tiny library, and I think that it is about time someone starts a reading program like the ones that the larger city libraries have. It would be need to be small scale, low budget, and outdoors (since the library is too small to have the kids inside.)
There is no children’s department. It’s a volunteer run library, which is in a seriously TINY building (think, size of your kitchen.) If I plan it, they will let me use their yard.

me and some friends are going to do some early squirrel hunting here in the city of chicago and i was wondering if them squirrelies are good to eat or sumthing cause im not going to just kill a squirrel and leave it there i want to eat in and make a coat out of his fur so what do u think?
