different types of crappie in Texas
yesterday i was fishing in freshwater and caught a fish that was about 1.2 pounds, 8 inches and looked like a crappie or huge bluegill but was blue and it had a red tail. if anyone can help me figure out what it was i’d greatley appreciate it.
any help with hunting bows?
i have a kodiak bear II compound bow. it has a 65 lb pull and i think 70 % let off. does anyone know if it is worth much and if they are still made. i have had it for 7 years dont remember where my dad got it shot comp with it for school 3 years.
Pisgah National Forest? camping-hunting-fishing.?
Has anyone ever backpacked the pisgah national forest? Hows it like? is there good fishing and small game hunting?(squirrels,rabbits,birds). Is the terrain ruff or is it pretty crowded. I hope to make about a 7 day camping trip. Any iformation will help.

Are Bears in Canada dangerous? (Ontario) and Bear Hunting?
Hi, will be in canada for 5 weeks starting August, and will probably be open air/tents sleeping wherever as will be hiring a car to get form forest to forest, just wondered if anyone whose been or is in canada can verify that the chances are I wont even see a bear, let alone get eaten. My friend here in England insists im going to die. Also has anyone been on a bear hunting trip? And is it true they let you keep the hide? ROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAAAAARR- cheers guys!
How to make a taxidermy manikin myself…?
My brother is trying out taxidermy on the squirrels he gets from hunting. The only problem is that most of the time the squirrel is too big/small for the manikin he has. So he has to spend time either adding/removing parts of the manikin he ordered. He was wondering if anyone has any idea how to just make one yourself from the body of the squirrel. To make a mold and then fill it in. If you’ve never personally tried it perhaps you’d have an idea as to what to use to fill in the mold once it was made. Remember pins will have to be inserted into this material so it cant break easily. I was wondering along the lines of like foam insulation. How it expands to the area anyway. Make a mold, fill the two parts separately, scrap off extra then glue the two parts together. I don’t see why it wouldn’t work but he seems to disagree with me. What do you say?
