What kind and how much salamanders should i get?
Ive got a big 55 gal tank that i used to keep fish in but only 2 r left cuz they killed the other ones tehe but im going to move those 2 to a different tank and i want to put salamanders in this 55gal i no usually ppl put them in like 15 gals but u no watever so what kind should i get i want one thats got some cool colors and how much should i get? TY

My salamander eats too much too fast…I think…?
Ive had him for about 2 months, at first I would put 12 crickets in his terarrium a week and he would eat them slowly thoughout the week. Now the day I put them in he eats like 10 of them in the first few hours, what should I do? Should I feed him less at a time or just wait till next week to feed him again or is that too long between feedings. He is getting chubby.
Ok, but do I feed him once a week then or…?

some lungless salamanders can shoot out their thyroid vone attached to a sticky tongue. could a lunged salamander theoretically have this ability, or does having lungs preclude it? how does valerian respiration work?

Okay.. first before you answer this question if you know where I can find a tiger salamander tell me! Also I can’t tell if my salamander is a cave or spring salamander. It’s dark orange with black spots on its hands, feet, head, body, and tail. Also it is a VERY light orange on the bottom. Help please! Also how canI care for this salamander and I don’t know if it’s a boy or girl…I think it’s a girl. HELP!!! 25 pts. to best answer!!
