They think it’s weird because THEY don’t have these things… So what?? Be yourself and be happy.

I think movies and T.V. are the culprit here. They usually depict the gay male as having close friendships with women, giving them advice on hair styles and clothing, etc.

You make sounding gay as if you want to be placed in a stereo type category.
Being gay doesn’t mean you have to swish around like an ulta fem with your pinky up and have female straights are your companion friendships….You’re just a gay male that likes to do things that are not the stereo type activities that are associated with gay males.
Enjoy life is what I say…do what makes you happy… Thumb the middle finger at those out there that think you are weird…YOU are you and be happy with YOU…Enjoy your deer hunting, sports and especially the relationship you have with being close to your father!
