Salamanders to kill Roaches?
Get them out! Kill them dead! Obliviate them! Can't spray, no chemicals, boric acid hasn't worked. I bought a used Refrigerator and right about the same time I got new neighbors. Not sure which is to blame, but now my house is absolutely infested with roaches. I have a 1-1/2year old boy and a ten year old girl with asthma/breathing problems. I've taken us off for the weekend and bombed and scrubbed 3 times no effect. I swear the roaches laugh at me. I heard, from a friend of a friend, that someone bought a couple of salamanders and just let them loose in their house and this took care of their roach problem. Does anyone think this would work? What would be the drawbacks or problems? Any other remedies?

I would go with house geckos. Salamanders live most of their lives in water and little on land so they would die if just let loose in your house. I would also try calling your exterminator. They may have products that are safe to use in your home.
